About NEA Memorial Gardens
Our Mission
NEA MGI is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization owned by the residents of Flatrock and Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and Labrodor (NL), and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
NEA MGI was officially incorporated in Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) in November 2022. We obtained our CRA Federal Charitable Status in January 2023. Our responsibilities expanded when we assumed the administration of the cemeteries in Pouch Cove and Flatrock in June 2023.
The NEA Memorial Gardens Inc. was established with a primary purpose: to manage and oversee the cemeteries in Pouch Cove (St. Agnes) and Flatrock (Flatrock Memorial Gardens), ultimately benefiting the local communities and residents. Our commitment is to ensure accessibility for all and to meticulously care for the plots, particularly those of our honored Veterans. We aim to create a space that everyone can take pride in.
Honoring our past and ensuring that Flatrock Memorial Gardens and St. Agnes Cemetery both remain a place of reverence and pride.
